I can't wait to see everyone!

                                  Cousin’s Birthday!
Image result for happy birthdayOn Saturday morning my aunty, cousins and I went outside to the back of my house to set up the decorations for my cousin’s birthday party. We blew up pink, blue, black and red balloons that had ‘Happy Birthday’ written on it. Later on, my cousin Lily changed into her princess dress because it was her birthday. She was turning 5 years old.  She wore white princess gloves and a princess crown. When she walked out her room, she looked absolutely stunning.  A while later, my aunty and my other cousins arrived so I quickly had a shower.  After my shower, I got changed into my black dress. Then I asked my aunty to plait my hair.  After she did my hair, I went outside and saw most of my family at the back of my house.  Then the birthday celebration began with my nana saying a prayer.  Then she blessed it and the birthday girl. When the prayer ended, the children went to go and fill up their plates first.  After I got my food, I went to go and sit next to my cousins. Soon after we had eaten, my cousins I changed out of our dresses and our suits into our regular pants and T-shirts because we wanted to play Touch.
We played together for two hours.  When the birthday was over we had to help with the tidy up because there were a lot of rubbish around.
My favourite part of the day was seeing all my family and spend time together to celebrate Lily’s birthday.

I love my new hat!

On Saturday night, the 23rd of October 2016 my uncle, aunty, cousins Soane, Christopher and I went to the night market in Pakuranga. We went in my aunty and uncle’s small grey car. It took us about 58 minutes to get there.
First we parked the car near Countdown and then we walked to the underground parking of the Warehouse because all the stores were set up there.
The night market was a lot fun because there were a lot of things there for us to look at like clothes, shoes, toys, foods, hats, socks and games.
After we had a look around, my aunty brought Soane, Christopher and I a large candy floss each. I had a mixed flavour of blueberry and strawberry, Soane had grape and strawberry and my cousin Christopher had blueberry and lemon. It was very sweet and tasty.
While we were walking, my aunty and uncle asked us, “Do you want a hat each?”
We replied back and told them, “Oh yes please!” So I chose the hat that had ‘NY’ printed on it. I really loved that hat because I like the colour, it was black. After that,  we saw a man dance like Michael Jackson.

I can't believe that Sacred Heart won the game!

Very early on Saturday morning, my cousin Taniela woke me up at 6:0'clock so I could go with him to his rugby game. On the way to the game, Taniela asked my mum if we can pick his friend up because he does not have a ride and he's in the same rugby game anyway. His mum agreed. After we picked up Taniela's friend, we proceeded to look for the venue of the rugby game. We drove around for a while but we had trouble finding the venue so my mum pulled the car over to the side and told us to wait in the car because she was going to ask for direction from the lady at the shop. The lady explained to my mum that to go to Royal Oak intermediate school we had to go straight then turn right and we will see the school.

We finally got there and we all got out of the car as fast as we can. Taniela and his friend, Silva quickly put on their rugby shoes because their game was starting soon. Then Taniela said to me, " You can play with my iPad but look after it". I excitedly played with the iPad but my mum told me to come and help her grab the chairs from the boot of the car. We also brought out the bag of food for our lunch. My mum said, " Let's find a shady spot to sit and watch the game". We found a perfect spot under the tree on the side of the field.

Once we were settled, I started playing on Tanielas iPad again. I played G.T.A ., a game that you had to kill the bad members of the gang and finish the mission. Unfortunately, I got killed in the game because my team didn't come to help me kill the enemies. Next, I was played a game called Racing Cars. It was about racing with other cars that if you come first, you win. The number of car was 5 and I was at the back and when the light turned green, the race started and I tried my best to get to the front of the race but I couldn't because they were blocking my way. Then on the side of the screen, I saw a boost button so I pressed it and it made my driving so fast that I immediately got to the front of the race. Not before long, I reached the finish line. I won, I won!!!

After winning that game, I decided to watch Taniela play rugby. He belongs to the Sacred Heart Boys Rugby Team. They were tackling and then Taniela's team got a goal. During the next hour, they kept on getting a goal and at the end of the rugby game, Taniela's team won. They shook hands with the other team. Then, mum and I went and took photos of the Sacred Heart Boys Rugby Team.

When the game was over, my mum said, " Let's go home". But Taniela asked my mum if he and his friend can sit on the chair under the tree to rest for a while because they were tired from the game. My mum said, ''okay". After a while, Taniela and Silva hopped in the car then my mum said to us, '' Do you want K.F.C?" We all said, "Yes please!" So we went to K.F.C and bought chicken, chips and burgers. They were very tasty and delicious! Next my mum told us that she was going to have a coffee and a frozen blueberry. I told her that I also wanted a frozen blueberry. Taniela and Silva said, ''No, thank you".

From KFC, we went to drop off Taniela's friend Silva at his house then we went home. I was very tired so I went to sleep.
Learning intention: We are to write a recount.
Success criteria: I know I can do this when I follow the correct structure of a recount: orientation, events, conclusion about watching a Rugby game at Sacred Heart.

ANZAC Day Celebration!

Last Friday St. Patrick's School celebrated ANZAC day outside the library. First we sat down on the grass and waited for Miss Bullot to come and start the prayer for ANZAC day.

After that the teacher gave the crosses to the children. Then we prayed for God to look after those people who have died for country. Then we sang the National Anthem song. After that all of the people in Room 7 said a prayer to God. Next some
of the year eights and Room 5L went and placed in the crosses on the grass.

Going To Church

Going to church on sunday with my family..♥♤♕
Walt learning to make a plan and use it to write a recount

On Sunday I went to Church with my family. We sang with the Bible.

The first thing was reading the bible. The story of the  bible was about Jesus died on the cross. Everybody read the bible with us. The woman read slow at church.

We shook hands with the people at church and we say, “peace be with you,”  I  shook two hands with the people  at my church.

After that I had a pineapple lolly. It tasted yum.  It was a yellow lolly. I got a lolly because I listened to  the church.

I had a great day at my church on Sunday.
