I love hunting for Easter eggs!

On Friday I woke up and got dressed for our Easter egg hunt I waited for my auntie and uncle to finish hiding the yummy eggs. I was waiting with my cousins Folau, Taniela, Patrick, Soane, Johnny and Launoa.

We waited for my auntie and uncle to finish hiding the yummy eggs. I was waiting with my cousins Folau, Taniela, Patrick, Soane, Johnny and Launoa. We waited for an hour. After my auntie and uncle had hidden the eggs, they came into the living room.

Next, my auntie and uncle told us to look for the Easter eggs so we started hunting for them. I kept on searching and searching, I searched everywhere. The first person to find an egg was Soane and he found it where the mirror was. Then baby Johnny found his one in a bag so that left only Taniela, Folau, Launoa and I to continue searching for our Easter eggs.

Soon Launoa found her one and I found my one in the Milo cupboard. This left Folau and Taniela. However soon Folau found his one in the food cupboard. Taniela was the last person left looking for his Easter eggs. He was about to give up and his kept on asking his mum where the eggs were and we all said, “It’s behind the hat!” The he discovered it and said, “Oh!” After that, we took out our tasty Easter eggs. They were very yummy.

After that, I went to my room and started watching the Easter movie. It was called Karate kid and it was about An American boy who had moved to China with his mum. He meets a man and he taught him kung fu. After that, he liked living in China. It was a great movie because it was a kid’s movie and it taught me that it is important to keep trying even if I find it difficult. Soon I felt tired because I had a busy day.

I asked my mum when we might go to Mangere to see papa and she said not until my birthday in May, and I said, “Yeah!” I had fun spending Easter with my cousins, aunt and uncle. My favourite part of the day was when Taniela couldn’t find his Easter egg because they had been hidden in a hard to find spot.
