Experiment

Detergent was added into the colours and the colours were all combined together and the colours were mixed. That emerged.
50mls of water
2 Drops of detergent
Hypothesis:
The 3 colours have combined together after putting in the detergent. Because once that surface tension broke the colours no longer remained in the same place the surface tension was broken from the detergent and once the detergent was in the food colouring and milk it still continued its process with twirling around and mixing.

Astria

A student in another school has recently blogged that:
“Students don’t learn much playing this game called Astria – Countdown to Impact: Their time could be better spent doing other things”.
Do you agree, disagree or partly agree/disagree?

Blog about what you think using evidence from the game to backup your views.
I disagree that children don't learn anything from this game. The game  because involves certain questions and games.

Term 3 Post!

Wow! It’s Term 3 and the year is almost over! I am a year 8 at Saint Patrick's School and it’ll be my last year, as a student here. I've been learning different types of skills to improve my learning.

I like to read and express my understanding of what I read.

Spidermen legs

Planning:
  • Spiderman legs
  • Moveable
  • Incredible
  • Interested
  • Morning
  • Park
  • Powerful
  • Magical
  • Shining
  • Balls

I spent my morning playing ball tiggy on the park running like a powerful elephant that had no control whether to stop. I was laughing out loud, and one of my friends commented on my voice saying, “Her voice sounds like it has been raised up as beautiful as an Instrument”.

Using my athletic skills, I had also learnt to move quickly and at speed around the court like spiderman chasing after the bad guys, no matter how hard the other players tried to tag me, they stood no chance, I was fast.

Learning to use description in my writing.

Data Display

Making Evaluations: Copymaster 1 Lunchtime Places
Learning Intention: We are learning to analyse and discuss data display.
“The teachers at Sunshine school wanted to know where the most children play at lunchtime. After one lunchtime they asked all the children where they had spent most of the lunchtime and made a bar graph.

After analyzing the data, I discovered that  there were 94 children participating in the survey. Of this number, 45 were  juniors and 46 were seniors. The most popular area for the seniors was the sports field, the least popular area was the concrete.
